wow great find this is a forgotten filming location for this movie , awesome thanksDelete
You are wrong about the location of the baseball field....I watched it get filmed at the GE employees baseball field in Castle Hayne, NC. It is right across the street from the GE plant. Corner of Castle Hayne Road and Hermitage RoadReplyDelete
Thank you Anonymous, I'll look into that.Delete
you are absolutely correct ,the filming location for baseball field was located in Castle Hayne NC, corner of castle hayne rd and hermitage rd across the street from the GE plant, please google map this and look at it closely and compare it to clips of the baseball field scenes and look at the now location from overhead and street view on google maps and you will be amazed . for some reason there is false info that the baseball scene was shot in Leland nc as it is not true.Delete
2325 Shirley Drive is where the lawn mower scene takes place and boy is hiding behind the scrubs. I almost bought that house this past year.ReplyDelete
What's hilarious is if you look at that house on google street view, and turn around, there is a semi parked across from it.Delete
The house where the boy hides behind the tree looks like aa house on McMillan drive. Can anyone validate thi?ReplyDelete
I drive over the Isabel Holmes bridge 5 days a week to work and back home!ReplyDelete
Lol. Do you trust that light? I also live in ILM, very cool seeing these locations today.ReplyDelete
I've lived in Leland most of my life and have been to The Kicking Mule hundreds of times. I love that it's a place in the movie.ReplyDelete
