Scream was released into theaters on January 14th, 2022. Filming locations include Wilmington, NC. It was directed by Tyler Gillett and Mat Bettinelli-Olpin. Other notable movies directed by the duo include Abigail, Devil's Due, Ready or Not, Scream VI and V/H/S. This was the first movie in the franchise not to be directed by Wes Craven. Four characters from the original Scream returned to reprise their roles; Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Neve Campbell and Skeet Ulrich. Marley Shelton also reprised her role from Scream 4. The score was composed by Brian Tyler. The films first DVD release was on April 5th, 2022.
