The scene took place in the rear of the building.
John and Tim enter the wash - south of* N. Lamer St. and Peyton Ave. Burbank, Ca. 91502
They're traveling south along N. Lamer St. and cross over Peyton Ave. The entrance is at the very southern end of N. Lamer St.
Sarah's nuclear nightmare - Park Rd. Los Angeles, Ca. 90012
(Elysian Park, Buena Vista Hill)
The playground was built specifically for the movie and then removed after filming had concluded. There is a small kids play area close by but it differs considerably from the one seen in the movie and it's also not as close to the edge of the hill.

Semi jumps into wash - Hayvenhurst Ave. and Plummer St. Los Angeles, Ca. 91343
The semi jump itself takes place on the southern end of the intersection. Roughly .23 miles north of the intersection is the spot where John veers left into the smaller wash and the chase continues.

T-800 trails the pursuit - Morgan Ave. and Jackson St. Burbank, Ca. 91504
He's traveling southeast alongside Morgan Avenue. At the time of filming, there was a freeway entrance on the other side of the wash. In 2019, that freeway entrance was removed after a new one was constructed.
T-800 jumps into wash - behind* 10640 Vinedale St. Sun Valley, Ca. 91352
The ledge he jumps the motorcycle from runs adjacent to Glencrest Drive. In screenshot #1 when he's approaching the ledge, the tip of the ledge is shown in it's natural pointed state. In screenshot #2 when he's mid-air, the tip of the ledge is clearly seen after it's alteration by production, in order to make the jump safer and more to their liking.

T-1000 crashes into overpass - Nettleton St. between* Glencrest Dr. and Glenoaks Blvd. Sun Valley, Ca. 91352
The crash occurs .09 miles south of where the T-800 jumped his motorcycle into the wash. The overpass support column was built by production so the semi would have something to crash into. In reality, the bridge has no support column. In screenshot #2 the support column has a noticeable texture discrepancy from that of the bridge itself.
Cyberdyne - 47131 Bayside Pkwy. Fremont, Ca. 94538
At the time of my visit, it was Mattson Technology. For the film, they added a glass fascade to the top of the building to make it appear taller.
Love the pictures
ReplyDeleteJust came across this site. WOW! This is amazing. In the past I've searched for exact locations of movies and once found the home used in Ferris Bueller's Day Off on Google maps street view. Truly incredible site!
ReplyDeleteYou do an excellent work. May I suggest "Going Down" for a coming release?
