  1. Amazing! I've been waiting for this one for a while.

  2. Can you do the film Gremlins' filming locations next?

    1. Gremlins was shot almost entirely on the Universal and Warner Bros. backlots so unfortunately there's not a whole heck of a lot else to see. Your best bet for seeing those would be doing the backlot tours. However, one of my next articles will be from a different 80's movie that Corey Feldman of Gremlins was in.

  3. hello paul! back to the future is one of my favorite movie from the 1980s (the whole triology)! to bad i did not visited these shooting locations back in 2002 where i was in los angeles!

one thing i am missing on your website in the movie description is the year you shot the photos today! maybe you could add them (if you still remember)?!

    regards from germany,
    tyler durden

    1. Thanks for the recommendation. I've always considered putting the year I took the "Now" photo, maybe that's something I'll start doing at some point.

  4. Can you do the house of wax locations??? i'm in love with your blog, keep it up!

  5. Thank you, Jamile! I'm glad you enjoyed it. If I ever make it over to Australia I'd love to visit the House of Wax locations.

  6. Awesome Job Paul! I take the Disney golden oak ranch way to go home for a shortcut to not wait in freeway traffic I never knew they filmed that scene there AWESOME! Keep up the good work!

  7. Amazing work! I cant wait to finally visit one day.

  8. Great work covering a great movie.
    Peace & Love

  9. The 'Town Square' is located on the Universal Studios backlot which you can visit as the 'Backlot Tour', the 'Lyon Estates' entrance plinths are there too.

  10. I live five minutes from the mall that they shot in Back to the Future. I got off of work one night and happened to drive by the mall while they were shooting. I parked across the street and watched. Did not know what it was at the time so now it is pretty cool.

  11. I like that the homes haven't been changed almost at all.
