Reservoir Dogs




Reservoir Dogs was released into theaters on October 23rd, 1992. Filming locations include Burbank and Los Angeles, Ca. It was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino also played the role of Mr. Brown, one of the six gangsters who carry out a diamond heist. The other five consist of Michael Madsen (Mr. Blonde), Eddie Bunker (Mr. Blue), Tim Roth (Mr. Orange), Steve Buscemi (Mr. Pink) and Harvey Keitel (Mr. White). Keitel and Madsen also worked together the previous year on Thelma & Louise. The films first DVD release was on June 18th, 1997.

At the time of my visit, the All Star Lanes bowling alley was permantly closed. The diner interiors were filmed half a mile north at 4720 Eagle Rock Blvd.

Warehouse - 5860 N. Figueroa St. Los Angeles, Ca. 90042

At the time of filming, it was an unused mortuary filled with coffins, embalming fluid and a hearse. The building was demolished shortly after filming and remained a vacant lot for almost a decade. The building on the other side of the parking lot, behind the warehouse remains the same.
