Apt Pupil was released into theaters on October 23rd, 1998. Filming locations include Altadena and Pasadena, Ca. It was directed by Bryan Singer. It's based on a novella by Stephen King from a book of short stories called "Different Seasons". The two leads were played by Brad Renfro and Ian McKellen. The score was composed by John Ottman. The films first DVD release was on April 3rd, 1999.
