Palace bar - 120 S. Montezuma St. Prescott, Az. 86303
(Palace Restaurant & Saloon)

Located on historic Whiskey Row, the saloon opened in 1877. It was rebuilt in 1901, one year after a devastating fire swept the entire district. It's both the oldest bar and oldest business, operating in the state of Arizona. It's part of the Courthouse Plaza Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 14th, 1978. I can personally testify that being in this place was the closest I've ever been to being transported back to the old west era. The smell hits you as soon as you step through the swinging doors, and it's visually amazing.
