White Men Can't Jump was released into theaters on March 17th, 1992. Filming locations include Los Angeles, Ca. It was directed by Ron Shelton. Other notable movies directed by Shelton include Bull Durham and Dark Blue. Wesley Snipes stars as Sidney Deane and Woody Harrelson as Billy Hoyle. This was the second of four collaborations from the duo. The other three were Wildcats, Money Train and Play It to the Bone. Duane Martin played Willie Lewis. Two years later Martin would go on to star in Above the Rim, another basketball movie. Former NBA player Gary Payton can be spotted as one of the street ball players. The film is widely regarded as one of the best basketball movies ever made. The films first DVD release was on May 21st, 2002.
