Freddy vs. Jason




Freddy vs. Jason was released into theaters on August 15th, 2003. Filming locations include Anmore and Vancouver, BC. It was directed by Ronny Yu. Robert Englund returned to play the role of Freddy Krueger for the eighth time, the character he made into a horror icon. For the first time since Friday the 13th Part VI, someone other than Kane Hodder would play Jason Voorhees. Jason would instead be portrayed by Ken Kirzinger, who played the cook who got thrown into a mirror by Jason, in Friday the 13th Part VIII. The lead of Lori was played by Monica Keena who can also be seen in genre movies like Night of the Demons (2009) and Snow White: A Tale of Terror. The score was composed by Graeme Revell. The films first DVD release was on January 13th, 2004.

 The maximum depth of the lake is 213 feet, that's the equivalent of a nineteen story building! The cabins were constructed for the movie and removed after filming had concluded.
