Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey was released into theaters on July 19th, 1991. Filming locations include Agua Dulce, Santa Clarita and W. Hollywood, Ca. It was directed by Peter Hewitt. It follows Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) and precedes Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020). It's the only movie in the trilogy to be completely filmed in California. The score was composed by David Newman. The films first DVD release was on December 4th, 2001.

(Vasquez Rocks)
Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park is a 932-acre park located in the San Pelona Mountains in northern Los Angeles County. The unique rock formations were formed by rapid erosion during uplift about twenty-five million years ago, and then later exposed by uplift activity along the San Andreas Fault. The rocks are named after Tiburcio Vasquez, a Mexican bandido from the 1800's, who used the rocks to elude capture by law enforcement. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 22nd, 1972. At least sixty-five movies have been filmed at the location, some of which include Alpha Dog, Army of Darkness, Austin Powers, The Flintstones, Galaxy Quest, Joe Dirt, Planet of the Apes (2001), Short Circuit and The Ten Commandments. Over one-hundred television productions have been filmed at the location, with the most well known being the original Star Trek series. At least thirty music videos have been filmed at the location as well.
