Disturbia was released into theaters on April 13th, 2007. Filming locations include Pasadena, South Gate and Whittier, Ca. It was directed by D.J. Caruso. The lead of Kale Brecht was played by Shia LaBeouf. The films antagonist was played by Davis Morse. Morse can also be seen in 12 Monkeys, Drive Angry, The Good Son, The Green Mile, The Langoliers and Tales From the Crypt episode Showdown. The hardware store scenes were filmed at the All-American Home Center, formerly located at 7201 E. Firestone Blvd. Downey, Ca. 90241. However, that entire structure was demolished in 2012. The score was composed by Geoff Zanelli. The films first DVD release was on August 7th, 2007.

The 3,222 square foot house was built in 1930. Although it's depicted as being directly next door to the Brecht house, it's actually sixteen miles northeast.
Not to late to say great Job Mr.!, I came here frequently to recheck for movie locations, I also visited "Breakdown" movie location article in 2018 and since then your website ages like gold. This is indeed one of my favorite movies ever, you know there's a curious thing in Mr. Turner's house, in the scene where the police arrive with Kale at Mr. Turner’s house to search the garage in which they find a dead deer in a bag. You can see that the house is totally different from Mr. Turner’s.
