Let Me In was released into theaters on October 1st, 2010. Filming locations include Albuquerque, NM. It was directed by Matt Reeves, who two years earlier directed the horror film, Cloverfield. It's a remake of the 2008 Sweedish film, Let the Right One In. Both films were adapted from John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel, Let the Right One In. And both films in my opinion, are brilliant, as they tell the story of a dark, yet sweet love story. The lead of Owen, is played remarkably well by Kodi Smit-PcPhee. Chloe Grace Moretz plays Abby, to perfection. Elias Koteas also stars as The Policeman. Koteas has an impressive list of films to his credit, some of which include, Apt Pupil, The Haunting In Connecticut, The Killer Inside Me, Shutter Island and Zodiac. It's set in 1983 and features some great music from the time period. A few of which include Breakup Song by the Greg Kihn Band, Burnin' For You by Blue Oyster Cult, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me by Culture Club and Let's Dance by David Bowie. The score was done by Michael Giacchino. The films first DVD release was on February 1st, 2011.

The apartment complex was built in 1965. It's a gated complex so I was only able to take a photo from the reverse direction of the screen shot.
