Problem Child





Problem Child was released into theaters on July 27th, 1990. Filming locations include Dallas, Fort Worth and Mesquite, Tx. It was directed by Dennis Dugan. Other notable movies directed by Dugan include Happy Gilmore and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. The lead of Junior Healy was played by Michael Oliver. His father, Ben Healy, was played by John Ritter. Other notable movies featuring Ritter include Bad Santa, It (1990), and Sling Blade. In 1999, Ritter and Problem Child co-star Amy Yasbeck got married. In Cape Fear (1991), the movie Max Cady and the Bowden's are watching at the cinema is Problem Child. It's followed by Problem Child 2 (1991), Problem Child 3: Junior in Love (1995) and a Problem Child television series. The movie features some good songs, some of which include Bad to the Bone by George Thororgood, Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf, It's My Party by Lesley Gore and Real Wild Child by Iggy Pop. The score was composed by Miles Goodman. The films first DVD release was on October 19th, 1999.

The structure was erected in 1909 and opened as the Our Lady of Victory Academy, a day school and boarding school for young women and girls.

The 3,927 square foot house was built in 1914.

Ben's Discount Tires - 910 N. Galloway Ave. Mesquite, Tx. 75149

The structure seen in the movie was demolished in 2010. In 2011, a new structure was built in it's place.

Midway - 3921 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Dallas, Tx. 75210

The Midway is part of Fair Park. This is where the yearly Texas State Fair is held, as well as the Red River Rivalry, the yearly football game between The University of Oklahoma and The University of Texas, inside the nearby Cotton Bowl.
