Bram Stoker's Dracula





Bram Stoker's Dracula was released into theaters on November 13th, 1992. Filming locations include Los Angeles, Ca. It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Coppola is one of the most renowned directors of all-time, with films like Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders and The Godfather trilogy to his credit. Gary Oldman played the part of Count Dracula masterfully. Anthony Hopkins played Van Helsing, just one year after his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs. The immaculate score was composed by Wojciech Kilar. The films first DVD release was on October 7th, 1997.

The cathedral was built in 1952. On June 6th, 1973 it was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #120. This is one of the very few practical locations used for filming, as the majority of it was shot at various studios.
