Con Air





Con Air was released into theaters on June 6th, 1997. Filming locations include Los Angeles, Ca. Las Vegas, Nv. and Wendover, Ut. It was directed by Simon West, in what was his first feature film. Nicolas Cage played the lead of Cameron Poe. This was around the time when Cage was cranking out one blockbuster action film after another and he was just about as popular as anyone in the industry at the time. The score was composed by Mark Mancina and Trevor Rabin. The films first DVD release was on March 24th, 1998.


Abandoned swimming pool - Airport Way Wendover, Ut. 84083

The pool was constructed in 1943. It measures 16 x 34 feet. There is also an adjacent main pool which measures 60 x 74 feet. The pools remained in use until the early 80's.
