Twins




Twins was released into theaters on December 9th, 1988. Filming locations include Pasadena and Santa Monica, Ca. and Arroyo Seco, Santa Fe and Taos, NM. It was directed by Ivan Reitman. Other notable movies directed by Reitman include Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Kindergarten Cop, Meatballs and Six Days Seven Nights. The "Twins" are portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. This was one of two movies starring Schwarzenegger released in 1988, the other being Red Heat. The score was composed by Georges Delerue and Randy Edelman. The films first DVD release was on May 27th, 1998.

The 2,582 square foot house was built in 1927. A couple years after filming, a second level was added.

Granger's house - 1126 Hillcrest Ave. Pasadena, Ca. 91106

The 6,898 square foot house was built in 1916. The boy seen bouncing the basketball is Jason Reitman, the director's son. He would go on to direct Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Rio Grande Gorge Bridge - US-64 Nm.

The bridge was designed by architects Charles E. Reed and Herman Tachau and built in 1965. It spans 1,280 feet and sits 600 feet above the gorge. Over 125 people have either fallen or jumped from the bridge to their deaths. On July 15th, 1997 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The screenshot is facing north. The bridge can also be seen in films like Natural Born Killers, Terminator Salvation and Wild Hogs.
