Ice Cream Man was released direct to video on May 9th, 1995. Filming locations include Altadena, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, San Gabriel and Valley Glen, Ca. It was directed by Norman Apstein. The lead of Gregory Tudor (Ice Cream Man) was played by Clint Howard. Howard can also be seen in The Dentist 2, Halloween (2007), Leprechaun 2, Ticks and The Wraith. The score was composed by Richard Lyons. The films first DVD release was on October 19th, 2004.

Wishing Well Sanitarium - Millard Canyon Rd. Altadena, Ca. 91001
It was filmed at the old La Vina Respiratory Hospital in Altadena, Ca. In 1982, it was determined that it was too costly to continue operating as a free standing hospital and La Vina merged with Huntington Memorial Hospital. By 1984, all of the hospital's patients had been transferred and the hospital closed for good in 1986. The building was demolished at some point during the 90's and it's been an empty lot ever since. It's on the grounds of the gated La Vina community. The structure can also be seen in Halloween (1978) and The Blob (1988).

Print shop - 13657 Victory Blvd. Valley Glen, Ca. 91401
The shop, along with the small shopping center it was located in, was demolished in late 2016. The area is now a fenced off parking lot.
