Split




Split was released into theaters on January 20th, 2017. Filming locations include King of Prussia and Philadelphia, Pa. It was written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Shyamalan makes his trademark cameo as Jai, the Hooters restaurant lover. This is the second installment in the Unbreakable film series a.k.a. Eastrail 177 Trilogy. The name Eastrail 177 is taken from the train crash which sets the story into motion. The score was composed by West Dylan Thordson. The films first DVD release was on April 18th, 2017.

The mall opened in 1963 and is the second largest shopping mall in the United States. The abduction takes place on the top level (third level) of the malls southside parking garage. The camera is facing southwest.

The zoo opened on July 1st, 1874. Dr. Fletcher meets Dennis at gate A, right next to the Tiger Parking Lot, along N. 34th Street. The bronze lion statue, seen near the end of the film, is named The Dying Lioness and is located at the north entrance of the zoo. It was sculpted by Wilhelm Franz Alexander Friedrich Wolff and installed in 1876. The same statue can be seen in the 1998 film, 12 Monkeys.

    1. according to my co workers at the Philadelphia zoo says, there are tunnels under some buildings throughout the Philadelphia zoo.
