In 1961, production for the movie Sergeants 3 constructed an imitation old west town for use in their movie. In the years that followed, other movies continued to use the set, including The Outlaw Josey Wales. After flash flooding severely damaged the set in 1998, a team of volunteers and employees of the Bureau of Land Management disassembled the wreckage and replaced the structures. In 2006, the set was destroyed by a suspicious fire.

The homestead - 5001 Angel Canyon Rd. Kanab, Ut. 84741
Today, the area is extremely overgrown and getting to the exact spot of the adobe is all but impossible. It's speculated that at the time of filming, the area was much clearer due to a recent Kanab Creek flood. The adobe itself was moved from this location to the Little Hollywood Land Museum, in Kanab, Ut.
