Training Day was released into theaters on October 5th, 2001. Filming locations include Los Angeles, Ca. It was directed by Antoine Fuqua. It features one of the most stellar casts I've ever seen assembled, led by Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. Washington won the Academy Award for Best Actor and Hawke was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. The score was composed by Mark Mancina. The films first DVD release was on March 19th, 2002.

The founder of the Black P. Stones Bloods in Baldwin Village a.k.a. The Jungles, was on-set for all of the filming in his neighborhood, and allowed the producers to use his neighborhood in exchange for casting gang members.
