  1. I believe lightning split the tree in half a few years ago.

    1. the tree is totally gone. Yes, it was struck by lightning and the property owner decided to cut it down as it could pose a danger to someone. The tree was then hauled over to the reformatory and placed on the left as you walk up to the O.S.R. ... close to the pond.

  3. Unfortunately, the tree is gone completely now. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-36878985

It was made into expensive wood products.

  4. I'm wondering why you didn't add where Red gets dropped off in the pickup truck and also where the bus is driving towards the hill?

  6. The tree is not at 3270 Pleasant Valley Rd, Lucas, OH 44843 (north of it) anymore. Google Earth historical imagery shows it. Gone about after 2016 and as Fugi commented in his post from July 06, 2019, the tree was replanted at 100 Reformatory Road, Mansfield close to the pond.
