Truck backs out of the door - 521 S. Hewitt St. Los Angeles, Ca. 90013
The former door is now a large window. This location was found by Kurt Crucial of 80's Life.
The truck going through the door was filmed at Barker Brothers Furniture warehouse (obviously the same address - just what it was before - the lofts across the street now were also part of the warehouse). The side it backed through was used for carpeting and rugs. They filmed a few scenes inside the warehouse. The door was specially built as the original door was a metal roll up door. Other movies have filmed there as well including the opening scene of Beverly Hills Cop. My dad used to run the warehouse. Thanks for the memories!
