The Girl Next Door

The Girl Next Door was released into theaters on April 9th, 2004. Filming locations include Glendale, Long Beach and S. Pasadena, Ca. and Las Vegas, Nv. It was directed by Luke Greenfield. The movie stars Emile Hirsh as Matthew Kidman, in what was just his fifth film. It also stars Elisha Cuthbert as Danielle. The following year, Cuthbert would appear in the vastly underrated House of Wax. It features an impressive soundtrack, some notable songs include The Killing Moon by Echo & the Bunnymen, Spin Spin Sugar by The Sneaker Pimps, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Take a Picture by Filter and Under Pressure by David Bowie and Queen. The score was composed by Paul Haslinger. The films first DVD release was on August 24th, 2004.

The 2,479 square foot house was built in 1923. Danielle's house is next door at 1500 Milan Ave.

The 5,671 square foot house was built in 1941. The house can also be seen in the movie Donnie Darko as the Darko residence.


Motel Glen Capri - 6700 San Fernando Rd. Glendale, Ca. 91201

The hotel has been there since at least 1964.

The Twenty-two story casino hotel opened on July 2nd, 1971. It can also be seen in Back to the Future Part II, Casino and The Stand (1994).
