ReplyDeleteDo you know where the hospital was at? I have seen it before in other films/shows, but I can't find it's name or location.
ReplyDeleteSorry Barry I don't but if I find out I'll post it here.
DeleteAny idea yet where the beach scene was filmed? It doesn't look anything like the rumored San Pedro beach, but looks more like a marshy lake or river. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe beach scene was filmed at Machado Lake in Harbor City.
DeleteI definitely watched them film some of this at Old Fort MacArthur, mid to late 1987. At the entrance to the tunnels. The crew told us that's what they were working on. No mention here though...
ReplyDeleteWhat's Old Fort MacArthur?
DeleteFort Macarthuur is located in San Pedro CA, My gramma grew up on that base, They had huge cannons facing the sea and I think the tunnels carried ammunition to supply those big guns in case of Japanese attack in WW2.
ReplyDeleteWas letting this play yesterday while I was playing video games, the school scene is my favorite scene and I had no idea it was Venice high.
ReplyDeleteThe junkyard scenes were shot at Apache Auto Wrecking in Los Angeles. Does anyone know of a surviving photo of the fictional “Penny Bros Auto Salvage” sign?
